Manchester Property Shoot 2007
Manchester Property Club held their Annual Charity Shoot at Catton Hall Shooting Ground, Frodsham on Sunday 8th July and raised £7,000 for Children's Charities in the North West.
The main charity to benefit from the occasion was the Wooden Spoon, rugby's charity supporting mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged children and young people. The shoot attracted 40 teams of 3 from all over the North West, which consisted of businesses from the property and construction world who generously sponsor the event every year by contributing top prizes for the auction held after the shoot. The raffle & auction raised the highest amount ever with over £3000.
The top teams on the day were Property Agents, Phil Cooke Consultants who won the overall winners cup. Engineering firm Hannan Associates Ltd picked up the trophy for highly challenged Property Shoot Cup.
The main sponsor of the day was The Estates Gazette which have supported the event since 1987.
Since 1987 the Manchester Property Shoot has raised in the region of £160,000.
Charlie Womersley, Chairman of the Wooden Spoon Manchester & Cheshire Committee said “We would like to thank Manchester Property, the organisers and people on the day for supporting Wooden Spoon. It was a superb day and we are incredibly grateful for the money raised to go towards our next local project”.
